Within an exceptionally short construction period of just 10 days, and without disrupting the clinic’s existing architectural structure, we successfully achieved a deep integration of a sterile medical environment with a rigorous ionizing radiation shielding system. This not only fulfilled high-standard clinical technical requirements but also smoothly passed the official final acceptance inspection.
Engineering Difficulties and Challenges
This project required us to simultaneously solve three uncompromising technical challenges within extremely tight time and space constraints:
- Extremely Strict Infection Control Standards: Dental implants involve invasive bone surgery; therefore, the operating room must establish an absolutely sterile, laminar flow cleanroom environment free from cross-contamination.
- High-Density Radiation Shielding and Safety Compliance: The newly added dental imaging CT room in the clinic generates ionizing radiation. A comprehensive lead shielding engineering project had to be implemented to not only ensure the operational safety of medical staff but also completely eliminate any radiation leakage to patients in the waiting area.
- Extreme Delivery and Rapid Retrofitting: Considering the clinic’s operational needs, the entire structural modification, cleanroom panel installation, radiation door deployment, and the final official disease control acceptance process had to be completed within an extreme 10-day window.

Through precise installation, this design completely eliminates traditional hygiene dead corners, providing an exceptionally smooth physical surface that is easy to deeply disinfect, meeting the highest level of sterile operation standards.
- Comprehensive Dental CT Shielding Package: For the imaging room, we implemented hexahedral protection using high-purity lead sheets. At the core, we customized and installed an automatic sensor radiation-shielded airtight sliding door with a 3.0mm Pb lead equivalent, and configured a fully flush-mounted radiation-shielded lead glass observation window with the same lead equivalent in the control area, achieving safe, zero-blind-spot intraoperative monitoring.
- Source Factory Turnkey Execution: From the internal prefabrication of heavy-duty door frames and the precise on-site hoisting of structural components to the final radiation leakage testing, all core building materials were manufactured in Zhenghong Purification’s own factory and directly deployed by our professional engineering team, achieving an absolute closed loop of accountability.
